The City – Spa Town<\/h2>\n

In the Baranya County, at the foot of Mount Tenkes and near the Vill\u00e1ny Mountains, lies a sunny town whose legend may seem incredible, but whose natural treasures are unbeatable. Have you ever heard of a place where wine, adventure, culture, thermal water, and wellness are all within reach? With its natural and cultural assets, Hark\u00e1ny is almost unique in Hungary.<\/p>\n

Hark\u00e1ny is one of Hungary\u2019s most important and beautiful spa towns. The town\u2019s microclimate is unique, with 20% more sunshine hours per year than the national average. As a result, plants such as figs and pomegranates have become native here.<\/p>\n

Catholic Church and Cemetery<\/h3>\n

On the outer wall of the church, built in the 1990s, the Passion of Christ is depicted in a fire enamel artwork by L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Morvai. The brand paintings continue in the cemetery, representing significant events and personalities from Hungarian history. The predecessor of the church was a chapel from 1906.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Located on Kossuth-Lajos Street, parallel to the spa and beach bath, is the protected Reformed Church from 1802 in brick style. It has three bells and an eight-voiced organ. Its collection includes two zinc jugs and plates from 1820, as well as two cups and plates from 1833.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The church, built in 1798 and also protected as a monument, is located on a small hill in the hillside district. It was originally a wooden church built in 1761. The area around the church, which stands at the corner of Terehegyi and Ostoros Streets, is beautifully landscaped. The church has four bells, the pews are in Baroque style, and the organ is built in Rococo style.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The precious Zsolnay Fountain in the park, installed in 2000, depicts a motif related to the legend of Hark\u00e1ny’s water.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
